Nayme was born in rural Turkey and moved to Germany’s Ruhr area with
her family when she was a small child. Growing up kind of in between the
cultures, she did not fit the picture in both camps which led to her becoming independent very early on. She is an outspoken, deeply loving and caring
woman who in her designs, as well as when you simply observe her moving
through her days, is making tangible what ancient, timeless beauty in a
modern-day woman can look and feel like.
 

For Nayme’s professional development everything was about angles and
form with a very hands-on approach. After becoming a goldsmith and later receiving her diploma in jewellery and product design at the university in Düsseldorf, Germany, she has worked as an art director at the think tank of
professor doctor Rainer Zimmermann, before establishing her own office
for communications, jewelry and product design, which led to her focussing
on what is closest to her heart: designing and manufacturing her own jewelery collection to make ancient wisdom in the form of jewels wearable today.
 

Jewels for her are a language that transports ancient wisdom and beauty
into timeless forms. The jewelery which is materialising through her hands

She mostly works in (gold-plated) sterling silver or solid gold, offering jewels

deep understanding of the jewelers’ art becomes visible, birthing pieces that
not only will be easy to wear, because of the refined balance in design and
